As the world churns with uncertainty, maestros Oliver Koletzki and Niko Schwind harness the power of change to present Agitation: a four-track EP that allows us to remain emotionally connected despite our social isolation.

The titular ‘Agitation’ is an emotional dream house hymn. Anthemic, constantly shifting arpeggios evoke a state of flux that is grounded out with subtly nuanced keys.

Echoes of the past step into the future with ‘Satinka’. Featuring Sidartha Siliceo on the sitar, this haunting, multidimensional cut is somehow exciting yet soothing, with a meditative and otherworldly vibe.

Swap your house slippers for your dancing shoes, as AFFKT steps it up with a punchier, upbeat re-imagination of ‘Agitation’. Adding his hallmark syncopated ‘thousand sounds,’ this track is sure to induce some serious shape-cutting.

With their charismatic South American flavor, Kermesse round off the EP with a remix of ‘Satinka’. Retaining the tracks original glimmering essence, cheeky horn sections bring an element of funk to the already buzzing reverberations, delivering an exotic percussive punch.

As our horizons shrink and we individually and collectively navigate the myriad challenges presented by the current state of global affairs, we can still expand and connect: music will unite us.
